Parker College Purchasing
This program is to educate vendors on how to do business with Parker College of Chiropractic and this registration process is intended to help Parker College identify experienced, qualified, competent, and reliable suppliers of goods and services.
Parker College is an accredited non-profit 501(c)(3) academic institution in the State of Texas. Additionally, Parker College uses a Sales Tax Exemption Certificate compliant with State of Texas Rule 3.322(c)(1)(B)(ii) and (c)(1)(C) and (ii).
If applicable, the general insurance requirements are workers compensation, general liability and vehicle liability. The specific type and amount of insurance required depends on the nature of the goods and services to be provided and will be specified in the solicitation or RFQ/RFP (Request For Quotation/Request For Proposal).
In awarding contracts, Parker College does not discriminate because of race, color, age, national origin, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by law. Vendors will also be required to disclose if any of its employees, officers, directors, subcontractors or agents are members of the board of trustees, a relative of an employee of Parker College or if they are employed by Parker College.
Parker College may conduct an investigation and/or reference checks to determine the ability of a vendor to perform and provide specified goods and services. This information is subject to the State of Texas Open Records Act as well as a review with Dun & Bradstreet.
