John Hyland John K. Hyland, DC, MPH
After managing a full-service chiropractic practice for more than 12 years and being named the Colorado Chiropractor of the Year in 1991, Dr. John Hyland specialized in the active rehabilitation of chiropractic patients. He developed and directed four chiropractic rehabilitation practices in the Denver metro area for more than eight years. After 22 years of practice, he now consults, advises, and trains doctors of chiropractic in the concepts and procedures of spinal rehabilitation. In addition to his certifications as a chiropractic radiologist (DACBR) and chiropractic orthopedist (DABCO), Dr. Hyland is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). His clinical experience includes working with the United States Figure Skating Association for more than nine years to improve the performance of skaters headed for Olympic competition. Dr. Hyland completed an MPH degree in Health Education and Health Promotion at the University of Washington in 2004. Dr. Hyland has been an adjunct faculty member at three chiropractic colleges, and he is a Level 2 professional snowboard instructor (AASI). He is currently a senior chiropractic specialist for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) in Greeley, CO.
