Elisabeth Fayt Shares Paving it Forward with Parker College of Chiropractic

Elisabeth Fayt speaks to students, faculty, and staff at Parker College of Chiropractic
November 5, 2009 (Dallas) — International speaker and author Elisabeth Fayt spoke at an all-school assembly at Parker College of Chiropractic about pre-paving all of the aspects in your life. Fayt is a firm believer in the law of attraction and believes that people can choose their thoughts by being positive so that they can create happiness for themselves.
Her book Paving it Forward explains the act of pre-paving, or mapping out your life. To pre-pave, you must think to yourself what your goal is and what you want to pre-pave. You then must say it to yourself out loud and maintain the mental attitude in order to be open to receive it. “This one tool [pre-paving] will do you for life,” said Fayt. “It’s a form of conscience intuition.”
She explained to the audience that we all have challenges whether its money, studying, work, or other challenges, but how we choose to react to those challenges is what matters. “Our thoughts create our reality,” said Fayt. “Your reality matches the beliefs that come from your mind.”
“The difference between pre-paves and affirmations are you say it, you pre-pave it, and you seal the deal with gratitude,” said Fayt.
Fayt explained that in order to stay positive and create good thoughts you must give gratitude. She believes that there must be a constant state of gratitude no matter what it is. “Gratitude is one of the most underutilized underrated laws of the universe. When I’m in a state of gratitude, I don’t have time to worry,” said Fayt.
She believes our first thought in the morning lines up how our day will go and that whatever you tell yourself you will believe. She asked the audience to start saying “something wonderful is going to happen today” each morning. When this is said, our hearts and minds are open to things that are already out there.
“Your day all depends on what you put into the universe,” said Fayt. “People spend more time choosing what they are going to wear in the morning than choosing how they are going to feel.”
Fayt believes you can pre-pave anything such as health, passion, time, money, family, love, and dreams. Not only does she believe we can pre-pave for ourselves, but we can pre-pave for each other.
She advised the audience to encourage themselves throughout the day by saying things like "the universe supports me," "I am blissfully productive," or "I have more than enough time to get everything done today."
Fayt believes that living on purpose is a choice by working with passion. She advised the audience to pre-pave that they are passionate about what they do. “That’s what I did in my past careers and it didn’t matter what I was doing, I was passionate,” said Fayt. “Whatever you are doing, make it your favorite thing.”
“Pre-pave your day,” said Fayt.
Fayt is a featured teacher in the movie The Opus. She is also the owner/founder of RnR Wellness, a Calgary riverfront spa that services 20 satellite locations in Calgary and Toronto’s finest hotels. Fayt plans to expand into the US and Overseas markets.
