The 16th Annual Chiro Games will be here before you know it. Board members Ron O’Brien (Palmer), Emily Tweed (Northwestern), Tony Petroccia (New York) recently toured facilities in Stuart and Jensen Beach, Florida and came away with the feeling that the November 2-3 games could be the best ever. While many of the plans are yet to be confirmed, here are a few facts to begin making your plans to attend the 2007 Chiro Games.Dates: November 2-3, 2007
Location: Stuart and Jensen Beach, Florida

Financial Deadlines: For team and individual registrations (as well as hotel deposits) will be strictly enforced this year.
Metal Spikes: There will be NO metal spiked shoes allowed in any sport this year (softball, football, soccer, etc.).
Uniforms: Every team must have both a light and dark colored jersey. Men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and softball must also have uniform numbers on the jerseys (prefer both front and back, but must have number on back).
Conduct: Competitors ejected from a contest will be suspended for the team’s next contest. Any violation that includes fighting or punching will result in the immediate dismissal of the individual(s) for the remainder of the 2007 Chiro Games.
Faculty/Staff Representation: Chiro Games by-laws state that each team must bring a member of the school’s faculty or staff to represent the team.
Notes: The Chiro Games Board of Directors (Ron, Tony and Emily) have introduced a new concept for this year’s competition, a neutral site. As such, the Treasure Coast Sports Commission has partnered with us to provide much of the necessary legwork to pull this off. Between the two organizations, a lot of the groundwork has already been completed. It is the board’s goal that from the time you land at the West Palm Beach Airport, until you’re back on your campus, you will join us in believing that the Chiro Games gets better every year.
Additional Information: Please feel free to contact Ron O’Brien (Palmer), Emily Tweed (Northwestern), Tony Petroccia (New York) or myself if you have any questions.
